At the age of 39, Aaron Smith took his old guitar out of the closet after 15 years, turned the skills he'd learned as a novelist toward lyric writing, conquered his lifelong fear of singing, and wrote and recorded his first EP, "Red Wolf Mist" over the course of the years 2016 to 2019. He might be older than most people who start out on this path, but he intends to create a lot more music in the years to come.
In late 2019, he wrote, recorded, and released (rather quickly because he had to say something) "The Gun Song" in protest of mass shootings and lack of proper gun control in the United States.
He is currently working on a new, full-length album.
