Jubwa is regarded as one of the most pioneering dj’s in the Bay Area for the history of hip hop culture and one of the most famous radio hip hop radio dj’s of the 1980s. Along with Members Only Crew, M.C. J.Brown, and Soul Plantation, Jubwa pioneered the era’s hip hop music. Jubwa was among the first to highlight the importance of the live on air freestlying MCs and DJ’s mixing and scratching live.
