Anna Awe is a New York City-based songwriter and producer who has cultivated a new style, sound and approach to music-making by mixing today’s electronic sound with classic songwriting and poetry. Originally a rock singer and keyboardist who performed live with a band at venues around the U.S., she adapted that style to modern times as she gained more and more knowledge about music technology. As a working DJ, she learned about many different music cultures, and incorporates them into her sound. She combines all of these influences to form a new genre of music which one day might have a title.
