Lunar Thorn is Amanda De Burgess and Steve McGrady, both singer/songwriters based on the Cambs/Norfolk border.

They are established performers who met through playing at folk clubs and open mics around Cambridge, Ely and surrounding areas.

The Lunar Thorn sound is based on acoustic instruments to give a natural feel to their songs, and their recorded material has the sound of a live performance.

They have built a dedicated following for their original songs with audiences in UK, Europe, N America, Australia and even The Cayman Islands.

Their “Seducing the Emperor “ CD contains songs written during lockdown and recorded in their respective home studios.

They are currently recording songs for a new release in January 2021 and can be seen performing online at regular open mics and songwriter circles.
