Today sees the release of 'Bad Ones' from San Diego band Quince & 9th - read their interview here!

Tell us a bit about Quince and 9th!

Guitarist Marcos and vocalist Eli were friends from middle school, we tried to start a band then and it didn't really work out since it was just us two. Many many years later we decided to start again since Marcos and bassist Adam's other band was coming at an end. After Eli posted some videos on social media we decided we had to complete these songs and perform them as a full band. Who would you dream of collaborating with?

The list is too long of who we would like to collaborate with, just to name a few would have to be The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, and Mexican Rock legends Maná. It’s been a strange year, but have there been any highlights for you? Even though this past year has been strange and difficult we did have a few highlights. Our EP that we released in February got over 5000 plays, and that's with only 2 live performances to promote it. We entered a Radio battle of the bands, we did win our regions section and went to the finals, but just came up short at the end, but it gave us good exposure and prize money to record more material!

Which music artists have had the biggest influence on you? Biggest influence would have to be John Mayer, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Frank Sinatra, Paramore, NF and The Beatles. Tell us your top 10 favourite tracks right now... John Mayer - New Light Of Monsters and Men- Alligator

Carin Leon - Tu

MGK & Halsey - Forget me too

Paramore - Aint it fun

Marshmello & Halsey - Be Kind

Vance Joy - Lay it on me

Dance Gavin Dance - Prisoner

Walk the Moon - Shut up and dance

Doja Cat - Say So

Tell us a bit about your new single Bad Ones.....and what's coming up next for you? Bad Ones can relate to any one. Everyone has been in a situation with another person who they know deep inside that they shouldn't really be with or interact with, but we still do. We will probably have another single out around summer so keep an eye out on that, maybe another EP in the future, time will tell.

What’s the biggest dream you have for your music? Biggest dream would really just be for our music to be listened to by as many people as possible, we hope to make people happy or make them dance with our music, even if 1 person truly enjoys our music and makes them happy will make us happy! Is there anything else you want people to know about you or your music? We're just a few dudes having fun making music and hopefully our music touches people.
